Early Music Festival

Arena Musicale is a chamber ensemble of historical wind instruments focussed on the performance of 17th – and 18th-century music. The unique sound of the ensemble, following from the absence of string instruments, is based on combinations of recorders and various double reed instruments such as oboes and bassoons. The ensemble is modelled on tradition of French royal music.
