Owing to its shining beauty and mysteriousness, the Moon (La Luna) has always been a major source of inspiration to artists, thinkers, and lovers. The pulsating program performed by the Glossarium ensemble illustrated how the image of the Moon and its cyclical transformations has featured in music, poetry, and visual arts. The program comprised music from several epochs, from the Renaissance to the last century, as well as music from several continents. The main “stars” of the evening were the charismatic guitar player Quito Gato and the Brazilian soprano Luanda Siqueira.
