The 13th Summer Festivities of Early Music opened in the name of Hispanic temperament, in the Spanish Hall of the Prague Castle. The eminent Forma Antiqva ensemble introduced a musical dramatization of the famous Spanish-French Battle of Pavia (1525). They performed pieces by Spanish composers Antonio de Cabezón, Sebastián Aguilera de Heredia, and Pablo Bruna, as well as by the Italians Adrian Banchieri, Marco Uccellini, and Andrea Falconieri.
