CV La Violetta

Jádro tvoří Simen van Mechelen (pozoun), Joshua Cheatheam (viola da gamba), Josue Melendez (cink), Maria Cleary (harfa) a Haru Kitamika (cembalo a varhany).

La Violetta (in Praetorius’ Syntagma musicum (1619) the term was used to mean treble viol) creates an opportunity to play the vast amount of music available from the Renaissance and very early baroque era in a complete as well as a broken consort. Both can be enriched by harp, lute and / or eventually an organ. One or more singers are also part of the ensemble to follow Renaissance ensemble practise. La Violetta consists of musicians with a vast amount of musical experience both as ensemble players as well as soloists. Core members of the group are Simen van Mechelen (trombone), Joshua Cheatheam (viola da gamba), Josue Melendez (cornetto), Maria Cleary (harp) and Haru Kitamika (harpsichord & organ).
