Since graduating from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in her native Rome in 1997, Raffaella Milanesi has been regular guest at opera houses and concert halls all over Europe, including Amsterdam, Bordeaux, Brussels, Lausanne, Luxembourg, Madrid, Montpellier, Paris, Salamanca, Rennes, Vienna, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Opéra National du Rhin, Grand Théâtre de Genève, La Scala in Milan, Teatro di San Carlo in Naples, Vienna Konzerthaus, and Dresden Philharmonic. She has appeared at many renowned festivals, including Festival of Baroque Music Ambronay, Festival de Beaune, Haydn Festspiele Eisenstadt, Innsbruck Festival of Early Music, Handel Festival in Halle and Karlsruhe, Prague Spring, and Musikfestspiele Potsdam Sanssouci.

 

She has collaborated with such distinguished conductors as Rinaldo Alessandrini, Fabio Bonizzoni, Giuliano Carella, Ottavio Dantone, Alessandro de Marchi, Ádám Fischer, Nicola Luisotti, Václav Luks, Andrea Marcon, Enrique Mazzola, Marc Minkowski, Hervé Niquet, Philippe Pierlot, Donato Renzetti, Christophe Rousset, Andreas Spering, and David Stern, as well as directors (e.g. Christof Loy, Pier Luigi Pizzi, Robert Wilson, and Daniele Abbado).
